very disturbing,beware!

Some people know for the last 2 years we have lived in Tracy California. If you have been watching the news you probably have heard what happened to Sandra Cantu. Well she lived only a few house down from where we lived and Croix used to play with her everyday after school. We lived in a small community and most of us would let our kids go to the little park and play together. Croix had his phone and would call every 15 minutes to check in so I never really worried about him.

If you don't know the story Sandra is an 8 year old little girl who fot kidnapped from right outside her house on March 27, 10 days later they found her dead in a suitcase in a ditch. 2 miles from her house!!! They have now arrested a ministers granddaughter who lived 2 houses down from her. The womans name is Melissa and they say she has always had mental problems and been in jail a couple times.

Now I'm sure everyone is thinking why would I put this on here. I just want everyone to know that no matter how safe you think your neighborhood is, you never know who is living next door. You can go on nvlpd website and click on the sex offender link and it will tell you every registered sex offender within 10 miles,their picture,where they live, where they work. 18 sex offenders live within a 2 mile radius of our house on decautur and 215 south.
Croix goes to Don E hayden elementary 27 sex offenders in 2 miles.

uuugghh planning

I hate planning parties let alone a wedding!! We are getting married on Aug 8 on a paddle boat on the Colorado River. That part was easy its the planning of the reception that is hard. Luckily we are having it at the Edgewater Hotel and Casino so their wedding planner is a big help. Can't we just get married at the Elvis Chapel of Love???

Divorced,finally!!!

So for all of you who know and those of you who don't. I have been married for 8 going on 9 years and seperated for 5. I finally signed my divorce papers!!! So Shawn is so excited to finally start planning the wedding he has been waiting for 4 years now. It's a long and confusing story that most people already know. But if you don't know it, feel free to ask questions!!:)

Loving Life

I have to say I love my life,when your biggest worry is that your Rachael Ray pots and pans have taken over a month to get here then you know things are going pretty good. I know I am such a lucky girl, my kids are very well behaved and except the occasional heartattack from Croix and his crazy stunts the boys never give me any problems. Shawn works really hard to provide us with everything we want. I have to say that me and my boys are spoiled rotten.

So my new favorite thing is ordering all the cool stuff I see on the food network,and I have a lot of cool kitchen gadgets. So for christmas Shawn ordered me the Rachael Ray pots and pans. I have had to call three times because they haven't gotten here. So after two sets of free spatulas and a free years subscription to her magazine they finally got here, 47 days after they were supposed to be.

I know its something petty to complain about,but I really wanted them:)
